The best free thing to do in Philadelphia

Spring
Inspiration

Hey guys welcome back to another post. This past weekend I finally got to do something fun besides work. Last sunday I went to a free concert in Philadelphia over at a venue called festival pier.

The show is hosted by an alternative music radio station called Radio 104.5. Every summer they do a block party series, where every month they put on a free concert with amazing alternative bands. The concert tickets are free you just have to download them when they go on sale and trust me these tickets go fast. If you ever visit philly this is the best free event that city has to offer during the summer!

Besides being free, you can also win other free prizes like tickets to other shows or buy discounted tickets. I won free tickets to see manchester orchestra! (don’t know who they are but hey yay to free stuff!!)

The line up was the groove merchants, The Outdoor type, Judah and the lion, Portugal the man, and Vance Joy.

The show was AMAZING! incredible bands small and big. very diverse lineup. Highy recommend to check them out. The last blocky party show is free as well with Dirty heads, Biffy clyro, New politics, Sir Sly, and magic Giant. The ticket download is this friday August 25. The show is September 16.

After the show my friends and I decide to talk a 50 minute walk into the center of the city and get shake shack which is so good by the way. I had no idea that they served wine there too.

Here are some other photos from the night
