My favorite Pinterest recipes

Pinterest is a goldmine when it comes to ideas, on what to wear, where to travel, places to eat, DIY crafts, blogging tips, etc. It is my go to app when I’m trying to figure out what to eat.

Out of any meal I always have a difficult time figuring out what to make for dinner. I have a love/hate relationship with cooking. I like to cook but I hate cleaning up the mess afterwards. I’m also busy with school and work, so I never have the time prepare a decent meal.

But when I do have the time, I like to look on Pinterest for ideas. I have a board filled with hundreds of recipes that I’ll get to eventually. ( You can follow my Pinterest here) in the meantime here are a few of my favorite recipes that I’ve tried and not failed at. I’ve attached the link of the full recipes and the blogs that I found them on. Enjoy!

Sweet potato fries

I love sweet potato fries. I prefer them over regular fries because at any restaurant. But when I’m at home and I always have a difficult time making them crispy. This recipe is great because you bake the fries instead of frying and they come out crispy every time.

Shrimp sriracha ramen

Every college student goes through the ramen phase. It’s cheap, easy, to make, and delicious. I love ramen whether instant or authentic. Ramen is amazing because you can customize it to your liking. This recipe is full of spice and flavor.  I really like shrimp, so this is my favorite ramen recipe. The best part is that it only takes 20 minutes to make!

Brown sugar green beans and bacon

This is a holiday favorite in my family. I notice that we don’t eat enough vegetables during Christmas or thanksgiving. I stumbled upon this recipe and it is AMAZING. the combination of brown sugar and Dijon mustard sauce is absolutely delicious. It is great during the holiday season but I like to make every once in a while with my dinner. Its simple to make and doesn’t require too much bacon.

Bruschetta pasta salad

I love my moms pasta salad but I’m not going to lie, I get bored eating it all the time. That’s why I like the bruschetta one because it’s something different. It’s perfect for summer BBQ’s or for dinner. It serving size does last a few days if you don’t have a big family. The pasta is not overwhelmed with dressing, plus it’s vegetarian friendly.

Chicken tostadas

I make these all the time. Tostada and tacos are a part of my weekly dinner rotations. You don’t necessarily have to use chicken, you can use what ever you want. That’s the great thing about this recipe, you can put whatever you want on your tostada. I love making tostadas because it gives me an excuse to make guacamole.
